How to show logs from Jira apps

Steps



  • Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.



  • Access to Settings > Manage apps

  • Go to Atlassian Marketplace > Manage apps

Step 3



  • Click on the plugin you want to analyze



  • Copy the app key of the plugin you want to analyze



  • Access to System



  • Go to System Support > Logging and profiling



  • Go to Default loggers, and click "Configure"



  • Complete the fields

    • In package name, paste the key copied on step 4

    • Select the logging level you want to obtain

    • Click Add























  • Reproduce the problem you want to analyze

  • Review the file atlassian-jira.log. In Linux, located in /var/atlassian/application-data/jira/atlassian-jira.log
